Delusion

Ezekiel 13:3. Thus says the Lord Yahweh, Woe to the foolish prophets, who follow their own spirit, and have seen nothing!

Luke 12:19-20. “I will tell my soul, ‘Soul, you have many goods laid up for many years. Take your ease, eat, drink, be merry.’ But God said to him, ‘You foolish one, tonight your soul is required of you. The things which you have prepared—whose will they be?’”

Matthew 3:8-9. Produce fruit worthy of repentance! Don’t think to yourselves, ‘We have Abraham for our father,’ for I tell you that God is able to raise up children to Abraham from these stones.

Proverbs 1:7. The fear of Yahweh is the beginning of knowledge; but the foolish despise wisdom and instruction.

Proverbs 7:21-23. With persuasive words, she led him astray. With the flattering of her lips, she seduced him. He followed her immediately, as an ox goes to the slaughter, as a fool stepping into a noose.

Proverbs 12:15. The way of a fool is right in his own eyes, but he who is wise listens to counsel.

Psalm 10:2-3. In arrogance, the wicked hunt down the weak. They are caught in the schemes that they devise. For the wicked boasts of his heart’s cravings.

Psalm 14:1. The fool has said in his heart, “There is no God.”

1 John 1:8-9.
If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

2 Peter 3:16-18. There are some things that are hard to understand, which the ignorant and unsettled twist, as they also do to the other Scriptures, to their own destruction. You therefore, beloved, knowing these things beforehand, beware, lest being carried away with the error of the wicked, you fall from your own steadfastness. But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and forever. Amen.

2 Thessalonians 2:1-2.
Now, brothers, concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and our gathering together to him, we ask you not to be quickly shaken in your mind, nor yet be troubled, either by spirit, or by word, or by letter as from us, saying that the day of Christ had come.
