Giving

Acts 20:35. Remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that he himself said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’

Deuteronomy 15:7. If a poor man, one of your brothers, is with you within any of your gates in your land which Yahweh your God gives you, you shall not harden your heart, nor shut your hand from your poor brother.

Hebrews 13:16. Don’t forget to be doing good and sharing, for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.

Isaiah 58:10. If you pour out your soul to the hungry, and satisfy the afflicted soul: then your light will rise in darkness, and your obscurity will be as the noonday.

James 1:17. Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom can be no variation, nor turning shadow.

Leviticus 19:9-10. When you reap the harvest of your land, you shall not wholly reap the corners of your field, neither shall you gather the gleanings of your harvest. You shall not glean your vineyard, neither shall you gather the fallen grapes of your vineyard. You shall leave them for the poor and for the foreigner. I am Yahweh your God.

Leviticus 25:35. If your brother has become poor, and his hand can’t support himself among you; then you shall uphold him.

Luke 11:11-13. “Which of you fathers, if your son asks for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, he won’t give him a snake instead of a fish, will he? Or if he asks for an egg, he won’t give him a scorpion, will he? If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him?”

Matthew 5:42.
“Give to him who asks you, and don’t turn away him who desires to borrow from you.”

Proverbs 22:9. He who has a generous eye will be blessed; for he shares his food with the poor.

Romans 12:6-8.
Having gifts differing according to the grace that was given to us, if prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of our faith; or service, let us give ourselves to service; or he who teaches, to his teaching; or he who exhorts, to his exhorting: he who gives, let him do it with liberality; he who rules, with diligence; he who shows mercy, with cheerfulness.
