James 1:13. Let no man say when he is tempted, “I am tempted by God,” for God can’t be tempted by evil, and he himself tempts no one.
James 3:7-8. Every kind of animal, bird, creeping thing, and sea creature, is tamed, and has been tamed by mankind. But nobody can tame the tongue.
Jeremiah 13:23. Can the Ethiopian change his skin, or the leopard his spots? Then may you also do good, who are accustomed to do evil.
Job 38:35. Can you send out lightnings, that they may go? Do they report to you, ‘Here we are?’

2 Timothy 2:15-17. Give diligence to present yourself approved by God, a workman who doesn’t need to be ashamed, properly handling the Word of Truth. But shun empty chatter, for it will go further in ungodliness, and those words will consume like gangrene.
